Trilobite
A glance into the prehistoric oceans reveals this trilobite in an intense golden brown color that contrasts with the limestone matrix. This bright orange is a natural shade due to the oxidation of iron pyrite.
It is one of the largest predators that lived in the depths of an ancient and now vanished sea, now occupied by the immense Sahara Desert.
The fossil is presented resting on an ebony base custom-made by skilled Italian craftsmen, following a careful study of the design by Dr Stefano Piccini. The support is designed to enhance this magnificent trilobite belonging to the dynamic and mysterious ancient sea.
This specimen, unique for its excellent preservation and large size, is suitable for the most demanding collector and at the same time, displayed on the customized base, it acts as a design object which enhances any decor.
