Dinosaur Egg Nest
A Dinosaur Egg Nest from the Campanian Period (82 million years ago), featuring a well-preserved clutch of Cairanoolithus dughii eggs in their original matrix, elegantly displayed on a stand. Since embryos are unknown in cairanoolithid eggs, the identity of their parent is uncertain. However, it’s possible that the parent of Cairanoolithus is some kind of non-ornithopod ornithischian, probably the nodosaurid Struthiosaurus.
