A trio of shells perfectly placed in this gastropod association against the ancient sea floor, this sand colored beauty projects a peaceful day at the beach.
Gastropods, a class of shelled invertebrate mollusks, are among the most common mollusks inhabiting aquatic and terrestrial environments. Gastropods evolved early in the Cambrian era, approximately 540 million years ago.
