A lone fossil prawn in tones of rust emerges from its cream matrix dusted with dendrites. This large shrimp’s body is over 5 inches outstretched, and measures a foot long including antennae. Found in the famous Solnhofen limestone, the skillful preparation reveals exquisitely detailed antennae, legs and body segments.
