Bony Shark
Ivory against the deep charcoal grey matrix, a seemingly familiar form emerges. An apex predator of the ancient swamps and bayous, this prehistoric bony shark could reach lengths up to ten feet long. The Pfalz fossil beds in southwestern Germany are famous for Permian remains, however, they have been closed for decades, making the availability of such a fine specimen rare. Skilled preparation yields finely detailed fins and vertebras. An exceedingly rare witness to the past, suitable for the most discerning collection.
